June 12, 2006 The 59th annual king salmon derby is officially over with Ketchikan's Larry Gotelli on the top of the prize ladder with his 50.5 pound king.  I hear it was "a monster"!  Congratulations Larry!  And the three hidden weight special prize category winners are: Youth Hidden Weight of 15 lb goes to Leif Svenson! Women's Hidden Weight of 30 lb goes to Louise Pattison! Men's Hidden Weight of 25 lb goes to Scott Corbett! ' A total of 3,542 anglers checked out to fish during the 59th annual king salmon derby and entered a total of 962 kings.  The poundage of all those kings was 19,705.2!  Last years stats indicate 3,335 anglers, 1,861 kings, and king poundage of 35,768.6.
